On February 2nd, 2024, the Department of Geology, in collaboration with the Departments of Botany and Zoology, marked World Wetland Day with a special event aimed at raising awareness about the importance of wetland conservation. The highlight of the event was an invited lecture delivered by Sri. P.A.V. Udayabhaskar, the Director of A.P. State Forest Academy. Students from all three departments and faculty have actively participated in the event, emphasizing interdisciplinary collaboration in addressing environmental challenges.
Prospects & Opportunities in Geology" by Dr. S.S.K. Chaitanya, Head of the Department, Geology, Sir C.R. Reddy Autonomous College, Eluru. A total number of 64 students attended the lecture.
