As per the directions received from the Regional Director of NSS and Ministry of housing and Urban Development (Govt of India) all the NSS POs are informed to conduct AMRIT KALASH YATRAS during 1st - 13th October, 2023 without fail. At College level: 1. The students may bring small amount of mitti or rice from their houses to their respective schools/colleges 2. The mitti or rice then may be collected in the Amrit Kalash at the respective campuses 3. The Amrit Kalash yatras may be organised within the campuses 4. Students may be encouraged to take the panch pran pledge at the time of collection of mitti or rice 5. The plantationof saplings and installation of shilaphalakam with the names of local bravehearts may be done wherever possible. 6. All the schools, colleges and universities are encouraged to establish Amrit Vatikas of at least 75 samplings of indigeneous plants On the part of this NSS students of Biotechnology Participated in Amrit Kalash yatras and plantation drive on October 9th 2023.
