The Andhra Biosummit 2024 was organised by TCABSE in collaboration with the Department of Biotechnology, Andhra University, Vishakhapatnam on February 5th, 6th and 7th of 2024. To this programme, 12 students from III BBC & III BBC Agro and two faculty from the Department of Biotechnology, Government College(A), Rajahmundry were attended. In these three days of the workshop, They gave demonstrations and Hands-on training sessions on different disciplines of life sciences i.e., Bioinformatics, Computational Biology and PCR etc.,

Outcome:
Students participated in Poster presentations, PowerPoint presentations and elocution competitions. Exposure to hands-on training sessions, made students learn the basic operation of instruments and procedures to be followed during electrophoresis, computational biology and bioinformatics tools to access data from different databases like NCBI, EMBL, PROSITE, PDB and Phylogenetic evolutionary relationships etc..
