Department of Computer Science & Application celebrated “National Science Day" under Government College(A) Rajahmundry on 28th February 2023, Tuesday. An inaugural function was held at Digi-Hub Lab, at 10:00 AM. Opening remarks and keynote address was delivered by Mr. D. Suneel Kumar, HOD, Computer Science & Application department. Dr M.R. Goutham Academic coordinator delivered a talk based on science and technology. They also emphasized the need to go beyond textbooks. They encouraged and motivated students to think innovative ideas from small things. More than 50 students participated in the session. The event was accomplished under the guidance of Principal-Government College (A) Rajahmundry supported by Faculties members. In the celebration of National Science Day, the following competitions were conducted by the department of Computer Science & Applications.  Poster presentation competition On the theme of Green computing, Soft computing, Edge Computing  PPT presentation On the theme of Industry 4.0, Bio Informatics, Robotics, block chain technology, Artificial Intelligence in Machines.  Painting Competition On the theme of Global Science and Global well being. IoT students presented an exhibit to demonstrate IoT based Smart Traffic light control system. 2 groups participated in the competition. Students were shown their creative ideas in their projects.
