The faculty of the Department of Physics & Electronics addressed the first-year students who joined the college and opted for different major papers. We explained the benefits of the single major system, including career opportunities, employment scope, future demand, and research scope. The students actively participated in academic and games competitions. A bridge course was conducted during Deeksharamba to clarify the basics. The purpose of the Student Induction Program is to help new students adjust to the college environment, learn about the institution's culture, build relationships, and explore their own interests. The faculty members interacted with the students and covered various topics such as acclimatizing to the surroundings, college culture, infrastructure facilities, support services, course structures, examination patterns, and academic benefits. And also discussed career opportunities in prestigious research institutes. The students shared their experiences and goals, expressing their expectations of the college and the Department of Physics.
